Meat & Two Veg

10 November 2015

Hadleigh’s greengrocer and butcher shop always has a nice array of seasonal treats. I walked up from Thundersley to meet a friend for coffee this morning “Meat & Two Veg”

And Back Again

9 November 2015

I love the whole idea of city breaks. Three days away, and now we’re home with our hearts and cameras full of memories and images of “And Back Again”

Gletschergarten Reflections

9 November 2015

It was back to work for us today, sort of…. in the nicest of ways. One of our prime purposes for coming to Switzerland was “Gletschergarten Reflections”

Lovely Luzern

7 November 2015

After a morning of wandering around Zurich, we took the train down to Luzern (Lucerne) to continue our Swiss adventure. The city is lovely, but “Lovely Luzern”

Zurich

In Love with Zurich, part 4

6 November 2015

We ended our day with a wonderful fondue followed by another long stroll through the city to enjoy the lights and the conviviality of the “In Love with Zurich, part 4”

In Love with Zurich, part 2

6 November 2015

Our priority, naturally, was to search out the city’s two labyrinths, one very old,  one modern. This labyrinth set into the wall of a house “In Love with Zurich, part 2”

Zurich

In Love with Zurich, part 1

6 November 2015

I did not expect to fall so deeply in love with Zurich.  I’m sure the incredible weather has something to do with my euphoria,  and  “In Love with Zurich, part 1”

Old Grey

5 November 2015

Our weather seems to be trying out every shade of grey today. It’s not particularly cold, just grey and (now) drizzly. This horse made me “Old Grey”

Lady in Passing

4 November 2015

I don’t know anything about this plaque, but something about it made me pause when I saw it — clearly she means something to somebody. Funny, “Lady in Passing”
