We have arrived in Chartres. Our last day of walking was 17 miles through fields and forests, often following the River Eure as it wends “Arrival!”

Today was a walking day. The weather was perfect – cool and dry, and our spirits were high. We caught our first glimpse of Chartres “Walking”

There is awe in stillness. And there is such grace in hearing your soul request it. I didn’t walk today. My friend could easily have “Stillness”

I will never forget yesterday. I had thought my post for the day would be titled some thing like Into the Forest and that I “Camino Angels”

Starting at the Tour St Jacques north of Notre Dame, there is a trail of pilgrimage symbols from across the centuries leading down the rue “A Pilgrim’s Paris”

My favourite way to visit a city is to simply wander so that I can soak in the sights and sounds and smells. I like “The Paris I Love”

I have arrived in Paris. It has been a day of ease and travel magic – confirmation of why it is worth my pre-travel efforts “Travel Miracles”
